PostgreSQL 18 Released

PostgreSQL 18 introduced a new asynchronous I/O subsystem delivering up to 3x read performance gains, 'skip scan' support for multicolumn B-tree indexes, a uuidv7() function, and temporal constraints for primary, unique, and foreign keys.
Virtual generated columns are now the default.
